What I Have to Watch for, and What You SHOULD be Asking

As I get further into this venture, I become more learned and aware about what will and will not be accepted as a link in a tag page article for Technorati. As a general rule, I found that I cannot include links to a website whose url is named after a person. The editor has mentioned that this is because he has no way to verify the credentials of the person whose service or product is represented.

Another thing that is not allowed is to promote a particular brand as an anchor text or a tag page article title. I slipped one through before knowing this, but had a “warning shot” fired at me, gently reminding me that I am not to be promoting a particular brand, that this is too close to advertising.

Also, some few of you have been wanting me to include the name of a city with your main keyword as the anchor text in the tag article. Generally that is a tip off to the editor that I am front and center promoting a particular service, and he doesn’t like this either. I personally think that the best idea in this case (take for example Houston Lawyer, or whatever) is to optimize for Google Local Search. I write a bit about it here.

In general things are rolling along just fine, however more people should be asking if I have a high PR tag article title keyword that is relevant to their niche! Don’t forget that the tag article title keyword doesn’t have to be the exact same as your anchor text. They should certainly be related, but do like one of my customers does, and target the high PR tag articles, and I can still work in your chosen anchor text keywords. I had somebody pass on my suggestion of this for a very relevant keyword for his niche, but I guess he just didn’t understand the value of a link on a PR5 of a domain 9 website!

The /r/ Thing Looks to Be a Thing of the Past!

Good News!

I know some of you had been concerned that after having claimed a high PR tag page in your behalf and written the tag article for you, upon being published it seemed that the page rank dropped off the map, or went into some type of “probationary” state, or fell from the good graces of Google into oblivion by having an n/a for page rank.  The editor was calling it a Technorati ”glitch.”  But as of today, I noticed that the face of Technorati has undergone a change, and thankfully it looks as if the PR has come back to its rightful home.  I had suspected that this would be the case, mentioning that why would Google knock off the PR on tag pages of subjects that were so vital, popular, and were so blogged about.  Every tag page that I had written for customers that reverted to the /r/ and temporarily lost PR as part of the process has now been fixed.  The “glitch” has been unglitched and you have the rightful PR that you had expected to have.

The tag page articles also have more of a front-and-center look and feel to them.  This should help to give the reader an extra chance to take an opportunity to read the tag page article and hopefully click on your included link.

SEOTagWriter October Newsletter

SEOTagWriter.com October Newsletter

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you and to update you on the SEOTagWriter.com service.  Wow, it has been a resounding success thus far!  I went into this hoping that it would go well, and it has gone better than expected.  Many FreeTrafficSystem users, PRO and free, have used my service to gain valuable one way backlinks to the sites they wish to promote.  I have been kept so busy by just ONE mass email sent out from FreeTrafficSystem!  Orders and reorders have just kept coming.  You should note that I am caught up now after about a month and a half, and no longer have the Red writing on the top of SEOTagWriter.com to stop giving me new orders.

I hope that I have been able to meet with your satisfaction.  I certainly have put forth my very best efforts to write quality, fun, and interesting tag articles in your behalf.  You have given me such quality websites to work with, and the content has been so educational for me and exciting to work with.  It has expanded my horizons as I take the time to thoroughly research such varied topics.  The articles I write are not only for you, remember they are also a reflection upon me as a writer in BlogCritics, so this is a real win-win situation.  I’m not going to risk putting out crap, because as you have probably noted, when you click on “outdoorsurvivalguy” at the end of the articles, you see my face, and the “Read My Blog” also has connections to me, so I don’t take this effort lightly.

It has been such a pleasure to service your accounts.  You have all been so gracious and so easy to work for.  I strive to give you the very best, and when the occasional glitch has popped up, usually you have taken the careful approach and gently pointed out what corrections needed to be made, and in almost every case such has been remedied.

I have kept this service on the “inside” thus far.  And I expect to for a while going forward.  What I mean by this is I am only offering this service to FreeTrafficSystem users at this time; the “land rush” is a literal reality and we have only scratched the surface in snatching up the very best keywords.  Do you know that I have already written tag articles for PR 5 pages (on Technorati’s PR 9 domain) and I still have over 100 plus claimed for YOUR USE?! All you have to do is ask if I have a subject that relates to your sites, and I am willing to oblige by using these for YOU!  I am finding that when I write these, however, the PR goes to n/a (obviously the domain still stays at a 9!).  I cannot make any guarantees with these, but I have noticed that many that revert to the /r/ later pick up the PR they formerly had.  I’ve now seen multiple /r/ tag pages with high PR!  So this seems to suggest that even though directly after writing the article the PR is not there, that it probably gets restored later on.  Again, I cannot guarantee this, but think it is part of the routine.  After all, why would Google leave as n/a a tag page that has hundreds of thousands of posts tagged with that keyword as is many times the case?!

Ladies and gentleman, thank you again for making this a wonderful service for all of us!  And in case you are wondering, the floodgates are open—send me your orders, and let’s see if we can get YOU some most excellent keywords among the 110 that I have claimed in YOUR behalf!!!
